The Rahmah Girl’s & Womens’ Qur’an Program in California

The Rahmah Foundation is honored to announce that it will be hosting a Hifdh (Qur’an memorization) program for girls and women at the hands of all women teachers! This is the first all-female Qur’an program taught by only female teachers in the Bay Area, CA. In fact, this is one of the very few such programs in the entire country! All of our Qur’an teachers hold the highest degree of qualification and have received official certification (ijaza) to teach Qur’an and Tajweed (rules of proper Qur’anic recitation). This incredible project is much in need of your du’aas and financial support!
The goal of our program is three-fold:
1) Full-fledged Hifdh (memorization) Program for girls and women
2) At-your-pace Qur’an Memorization classes for both girls and women
3) Tajweed (rules of proper recitation) classes for both girls and women.
Budget:
Our start-up costs for this project: $60,000 for the first year. It is estimated that half of the cost will be coming from tuition. However, we are much in need of your financial support to help make this project a reality. Please click here to donate!
Why Support this Project:
Imagine giving charity that goes directly to girls and women memorizing Qur’an or perfecting their recitation! Imagine every letter they learn will count for you as though you were the one memorizing without diminishing from their reward at all! Then that reward will perpetuate every time they recite that letter, word, verse, page, chapter, etc! Then the reward further perpetuates for you when they teach it to others!! And then when others teach it to others! There is no end to the reward and it will continue counting for you even after you have long passed away! Teaching Qur’an is one of the noblest forms of Sadaqa Jariyah- ongoing charity. So imagine sitting where you are but having the reward of the one memorizing Qur’an and the reward perpetuating for infinity!
